The popular Hyundai Elantra adds a sporty option to the compact sedan class, and it has long been a popular pick among auto shoppers in the Chicago area. The 2024 Hyundai Elantra SEL becomes the 2025 Elantra SEL Sport. Other than this important update, the Elantra is unchanged for the 2025 model year.
The Elantra's impressive styling was updated only last year, so it continues to display a modern, sleek design that turns heads on the road. Dramatic curves across the hood and roof establish its look. The Elantra's sides have a crisp crease running at an angle across the upper doors. The midsection of the doors has a pair of creases that angle in the opposite direction. Over the curved nose, the short grille is flawlessly integrated with the LED-topped, sharply styled headlights. The commanding bumper and accompanying air inlets enhance the Elantra's sporty side. The SEL Sport is equipped with 16-inch wheels featuring a pinwheel-like design.
Under the hood, the 2025 Elantra SEL Sport gets 147 horsepower from a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder gas engine. This system features a continuously variable automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard.
The SEL Sport is the second trim level in the Elantra's lineup for 2025. It comes with all of the features in the base SE, including a six-speaker sound system, wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a blind-spot warning system, rear cross-traffic sensors, lane keeping, forward collision mitigation, and a driver attention warning.
