The midsize Hyundai Sonata introduced its hybrid trim levels several years ago. While some of the gas-powered trims have been updated for the 2025 model year, the hybrid trim levels are unchanged. These trim levels are the SEL Hybrid and the Limited Hybrid.

The 2025 Sonata Hybrid receives 190 total horsepower from a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine. This engine features hybrid technology to enhance fuel economy. The hybrid trim levels are exclusively offered with front-wheel drive.

While the 2025 Sonata Hybrid is a larger, four-door sedan, it has a sporty, tapered profile and modern accentuation. Crisp accents flow across the swooping hood as well as the upper and lower door panels. Near the front fender, a wide air inlet adds sophistication. At the front of the Sonata, the LED headlight bar runs from side to side. The rounded, black grille drops down, and it is flanked by large air inlets. The SEL Hybrid and the Limited Hybrid have the same exterior features offered in the lower trim levels. These are 18-inch wheels and heated side mirrors with power-folding functionality.
