 What's New for the 2026 Hyundai Palisade?

The midsize Hyundai Palisade SUV will introduce its second generation in 2026 and bring numerous improvements to the table for you to explore and enjoy. These updates extend to the engineering, exterior, and interior.

The new 2026 Palisade XRT Pro is a rugged trim level that includes terrain drive modes and a raised suspension system. Every Palisade is engineered with a 3.8-liter, V6 engine and an eight-speed auto transmission. This setup produces 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. Front-wheel drive is standard for most trims, and all-wheel drive is available. For the Calligraphy Night, all-wheel drive is standard. Select trims also come with a self-leveling rear suspension system.

The Palisade grows larger in 2026 with a longer wheelbase and broader dimensions. The LED headlights are now bolder with a stacked block design. They stand vertically to flank the rectangular, block-themed grille. The flat roof angles slightly, and the rear is raked to enhance available cargo space. The smooth door panels are distinguished by unique body molding at the bottom. The fenders are slightly squared off and enhanced by rounded molding. Exterior features include up to 20-inch wheels, front and rear skid plates, auto-dimming side mirrors, and roof rails.

Inside, the Palisade gets a design refresh and introduces higher-end materials. The base SE trim level is well-appointed with standard features like Bluelink+ connected services, USB ports in the first and second rows, an auto-dimming rear mirror, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, an integrated navigation system, parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, and several other features.

The higher trim levels are also available with heated seats, a touch interface for the climate control system, remote smart parking assistance, premium leather upholstery, rear auto braking, a cabin intercom system, customizable ambient lighting, a head-up display, a dual-pane sunroof, highway driving assistance, two household power outlets, driver's memory settings, USB ports in the third row and numerous additional features.
